Adam's Rib
Part 2
Adam's Rib and the X and Y chromosones Part 2:

More thought for introspection regarding science and religion.

Some say they believe in the literal interpretation of the Bible, believing everything happened
just as it states with no interpretation necessary.

Trust me: I appreciate their viewpoint and those who express them. And I will always try to
respond to their viewpoint with respect and possibly undue respect. They are part of my roots.
They taught me to look at the stars and "know" the wonders of the universe! Others who are
also my heart even though I may not always necessarily agree with them.

Conversely, there are others who may be inclined to agree with a different interpretation of the
Creation story which is more in line with the scientific view.

The thought for introspection for today:

The literal interpretation of the Bible is
Adam was created and then Eve was created when God
literally took a rib from his side.

Understood.

Other interpretations may vary.

However, one is that the Universe started with a "big bang" and everything came from ONE
point! If so,
how did a male and female of the same species (or any species) come from ONE
point in creation when everything came from one microbe?
And how does that one act of
Creation reflects on "God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve"?

Just something to think about because there are answers. There are males and females
everywhere! However, "I don't know" is a perfectly acceptable answer, too. There is much we
don't know. However, others may understand why some still accept the literal version of the
Creation story.
