I still don't like writing about current events.....but......
Wow! The 40th anniversary of the man landing in the moon is approaching! Hurrah.
I know. Some folk are still skeptical. In the true tradition of one who has been "on the
couch", I will try to be kind.
However...
Did I actually hear news reports that the original film of the event had been erased?
No. I must be wrong.
Not possible. That could not have happened. It would not be allowed to occur if man had
landed in the moon (proof needed) and it would not have allowed to happened if man
had not landed in the moon. (Need to see how many lies needed to be covered up.)
Besides, the NASA project is a military operation of the greatest military on Earth! No.
(Please see note below!)
So let's celebrate.
Yes, getting back to the paranormal, I know some have doubts about the lunar landing
actually occurring because all the "shadows" were in the wrong place. Gosh! They were
on the moon! The shadows probably WOULD be in the "wrong" place!
I have all the tapes of all the lunar explorations. I got them years ago. I got them for a
Christmas present. However, I can't look at them because of the controversy and look at
them as anything other than entertainment. I intend to remain a believer. Always. I don't
think there is any person on this world who CAN believe more in manned space
exploration than I! Go to the stars and beyond! Yes, the government spend trillions of
dollars that can be used down here. But all the technology created and used to get man
to the moon and beyond creates advances on Earth, also.
Some use the technological advances as evidence that man did go to the moon. Well,
nothing would create more technological advances like trying to return to the scene of
the "crime" in order to "cover up a lie". And, yes, I know folks are also skeptical because
the entire world were looking at the event and, Lord, was those little black boxes busy!
(Let us get the right boxes in our mind now, okay?) Probably sent the Nielsen ratings
through the ROOF! We weren't allowed to watch much television as kids but we were
allowed to watch that event. And, golly gee, the first steps on the moon were all
accomplished by a man named...........what was his name?.............Neal. Armstrong.
Hm.
Nielsen. Neal. Hm. Gosh, folks. Get a GRIP! Just a coincidence! ("Oh, don't ask Neil
anything about it. They are all military folks. They say what they must!)
Don't assume that I have a negative image of the media because of some of things I
have mentioned such as the Nielsen ratings and etc. Those with questions are the ones
who are really watching. I believe that a responsible media is a necessary component of
a democracy. (I don't want to use the word republic)
Furthermore, let us not forget that sometimes when people start to pay more...and
more....and more.........for their entertainment, SOME of them MAY start to get a
bit........aaaah.....picky.....and expect more.
They may not say or expect too much when it is "free". (By the way, if I am correct,
Happy Birthday Nelson Mandela!)
"Space". The final frontier. Personally, as I have said, I have a very high degree of
interest in it because of my interest in time and space. However, in order to progress
beyond the theoretical and get to the point of making a rocket ship (smile), I have to
brush up on my Math skills. So I am counting all the "change" I can to improve my Math
skills. (Rolling my eyes)
More rights for women? Nope. To have change? Nope.
To make change? Nope.
To have a quality education? You decide.
More respect for women? Gosh, no.
No excuses needed for women? Nope.
Better health care for women? Let me look under the bed may be the "change" is there.
Not that I was complaining too much before but some of us have been given a LOT of
promises about the future. I was okay until "Stomp, stomp, where are my children?"
But I will try to remain an optimist about what I have always been optimistic about and
not go from bad to worse and get to the point where I believe absolutely nothing is
possible.
I am still so absolutely proud of my country in some respects, though. We have been
able to conduct a peaceful transfer of powers. Absolutely positively amazing when you
consider our history! AMAZING for ALL parties involved! If I can see no other change
but that, I maybe satisfied. For now. I guess it doesn't take much to make me happy...in
some instances. We all should be SO proud of ourselves. I am! Wow! I am so
absolutely impressed with you all! Absolutely impressed.
I won't be watching any lunar landing anniversary specials though. I am worried about
my eyes. With all that talk about shadows, brighter and better digital enhancements, and
etc., I am afraid my poor vision/eyes will get worse than it is. I have heard that lunar
eclipses could ruin them. Sorry. I can't join the fun. So you have to tell me about the
shadows.
Over and out. God bless America!
May God bless you all! Forgive me if I seem a bit distracted lately and seem to have
other more "important" interests.

The above discussion would just be moot and a joke except for several recent events.
All of which, as Americans, we can easily overcome.
The Challenger disaster. The Columbia (?) disaster. And the fact that these are all
military projects by the greatest fighting force on Earth and on a personal level, my
recent comments about "it" and the comments about "send us into the swine". Search
the site if you must. I won't make it easy for you this time.
Otherwise, don't lose any sleep over manned space exploration. I believe in manned
space exploration because sometimes I am just not always ready to believe
"technology". Sometimes you just need to get it from the horse's mouth.
I know the movie "Contact" starring Jodie Foster indicate otherwise. That humans can
get things twisted but technology can get just as twisted and/or malfunction, also. Some
folks will say with all the above ideas that I have malfunctioned. (smile) All my own ideas,
too. Except the ones about the shadows. Gosh! WHO would claim them?! NO one!
And, last but not least, thank God for the dedication of professionals in the media. God
KNOWS that We DO need professionals in the media!
