Mesmerism
November 10, 2009 at 2:xxam

This is a continuation of the thoughts on the
AudioandVideo page regarding
Hypnotism.

The word we will focus on today is not hypnotism but the word as noted on that page:

Mesmerism

Some of you will resist believing that hypnotism is possible using common electronic
devices and insisted that the subject of extra sensory perception is a more legitimate
subject. If you insist. I may stand corrected because the CIA could have been
conducting experiments on mind control and not ESP. Or both. (smile)

However, let me give you something to think about.

Yes, there are some individuals who do resist hypnotism. (So they can see what is
really going on. Sometimes.) And, yes, there are some individuals who can NOT be
hypnotized.
Of course, they could also fake it and pretend they are ........and really see what is
going on. Sometimes. And there also maybe some individuals who are and have been
hypnotized and for some reason because one or both parties were resistant to the
activity, may "snap out" of it sometime in the future.....and can really see what is going
on. Sometimes. Just a note to let you see the possible dangers of such activities.

I guess you could hypnotise them to do something and then when they "snap out it" for
various reasons, you can just blackmail them. And for double insurance you can drug
them, too.

That is so
funny for reasons which won't be discussed now.

But the main topic about
possibility of mesmerism which is the focus is:

Are there any individuals out there in this world who are mesmerised by any THING or
any PERSON and they have
not been subjected to ANY kind of mind control?!?

If so, the possibility for effective hypnotism exists.

Do they see their favorite star and have absolute screaming FITS!

Do they see some fashion item and just go "nuts" if there is some kind of race to get
it?

If "ordinary" people can be mesmerized without any help from any device, just think of
other possibilities that could induce such a reaction.

I really want to stop there but in the interest of fairness because I do not want this to
appear like a one sided argument, I must add another point.

I believe in freedom of expression which is normally exercised in the Arts. That does
not negate personal responsibility on the part of the artist, though. Personal
responsibility does not mean that one does NOT express themselves; just that
whatever the outcome of their expression,  they must take responsibility for their
creative expression. Responsibility means  NOT denying the process and the author
but possibly stating "I may be punished for that expression but it is what it is. The
release of that expression is necessary for this "day and time". So deal with it. Deal
with truth from another perspective!"

Of course, no one may want to listen. But be aware that even though one may express
themselves today, it may not be "heard" until centuries later. Many time folks only
appreciate something that is dead. Why? Stupidity and the desire to control the
message or the messenger.

Another note:

Many of us believe in freedom of religion too. And in the interest of fairness and I hope
all of you can keep it that way. But we could not be considered fair and somewhat
objective  UNLESS there is a note that some of the potential for the GREATEST
mesmerization can occur in
religions circles!

Religion that can range from the occult, to  mainstream religions in America to all the
other religions of the world. I am exempting NO religion and NO one will get a free ride
here. Not even myself because I definitely write a lot about religion on these pages. I
would be unfair if I failed to mention religion in this subject. Fair is fair. Please. Be fair
when even considering discussing the subject of mesmerization. Don't just make one
group (the occult, movie stars, television) the target of speculation because of the
various reasons I won't mention here.

Personally, that is why I believe in a change heart and not just other manifestations of
religion because games are played in the religious arena, too.  Is
your religion strong
enough to change some of man's worse tendencies?
But, I guess,  folk can believe
and expect manifestation anywhere they WANT, can't they?

Frankly, personally, this subject matter is only interesting when its focuses on religious
components and its possible history. What components of religion, ANY religion,
causes lasting changes in a society and in individuals? Does "lasting change" really
matter? How much of this change is encouraged by mass appeal, other factors in
society and/or possible "mesmerization"? And how much is encouraged by some
authentic but courageous lone leadership? Such questions would make for some
fascinating research and I don't think the answers would weaken my religious faith
either.

Another note: I need your prayers and your patience. I'm basically okay but I have
been suffering from an illness for the last couple of weeks for which I have had to have
surgery for in the past. It has been a difficult few weeks even though the illness is
considered minor. Yeah, right.  But life doesn't stop doesn't it?

Additionally, with all my own problems, I have had to deal with all these computer
glitches. I have to correct BOTH of our mistakes! It is exasperating. I want to keep my
"journalizing" process going so I can continue to get to THE thought and THE plan in
MY life but sometimes it even gets on my own nerves.

"Good GOD! Can't I do better than THIS?!?!?!"

The answer is always "YES! YES! YES! Just not today! Or right now."

One day I can only HOPE to be "professional" but I won't be as prolific when that
occurs.

So, with all the problems,  I can only IMAGINE what YOU think.......when I choose to
care. I can't care too much. I am on a journey and it is not like I have all the time in the
world, either; so I must stay focused.
Some of my destinations end up the most
unlikely places don't they?
(smile) I may end up with some of my luggage missing, a "i"
not dotted and a "t" not crossed but at least I
will get there.

I will try to be nice because from time to time,  I do suspect I MAY need a friend on my
journey. Having a friend or two will not compromise my objectivity and my efforts to
give back to society all the good it has given ME, will it?  Trust me: the giving really IS
all good!

I guess the problem comes when I choose NOT to give and I just sit and ........watch.
Like I said: less prolific.
