Get ready for the next topic
This site/page will focus more on philosophical and issues regarding values. So issues
regarding values could involve some issues discussing religion. Even more so, since
philosophy and religion are similar subjects. Politics may be a focus also but it will be rare.
Have any ideas regarding the potential next topic which would be primarily for Christians?
John 3:16 regarding the sacrifices for sin:
Think long and hard of all the horrific sins that man have committed or are capable of
committing if given the chance to do so. Is God's remedy for sin and His redemptive plan any
more horrific than those sins OR the sacrifices man were committing anyway?
He just said, "MY sacrifice will be the LAST time it will happen! NO more sacrifices
necessary!!! And the NEXT sacrifice will be MY son...NOT YOURS!"
And His son, like some children say sometimes, said, "Yes, daddy, I will get glad to help you
stop the "slaughtering"! PLEASE: Send me!!"
Some times a Higher Mind has to be creative with so-called barbarism attributed to what some
would call a "bloody religion".
No one room in the inn:
So the little baby Jesus, the future sacrifice, was told that there was no room in the inn and
was sent to the barn with all the other FORMER sacrifices......including the VIRGIN!
"Baa, baa" said the sheep, "Welcome".
"Moo, moo" said the cow, "have some of my hay"
"Oink, oink" said the little piggies, "We were told about you! What a STAR!"
And the Virgin said, "Don't look at me. Talk to Joseph but I am sure glad we don't have to be
thrown over the cliffs anymore!"
Jesus Christ: I am the way, the TRUTH and the LIFE and NO man comes unto the Father but
by me (and my way of thinking!)! ENOUGH SACRIFICES. let the animals, the virgins and the
first born sons BE! I will fix this! Because sacrifices will NOT change your HEART...the REAL
problem of SIN! (The New Testament!)
"Yippee!", said all the farm animals, "See? All those sacrifices didn't work that well anyway!

One of my very favorite topic (probably because of my background) is the family farm and
agricultural issues. This issue really need its own page.
However, I will only add a link to places that some consider provide some of the best of rural
living. I am not endorsing any of the recommendations; it is just something to get you to
thinking until this topic comes up. And don't worry, I will never cease to have something to
write about. Some folks say I write (and talk) TOO much! However, none of us want to wait
until "something happens" before we show even a slight interest in a safe and reliable food
supply system in an interdependent global marketplace.

I have chosen another topic because it is related to conservation
issues and presents possibility, even if remote to some, of more
research to address those needs.
It is involves one of the oldest source of conflict between man
and their neighbor: the need for water.

I am almost sure that

sites all the time; just
pick your favorites when
this entire site is up and
running.
When I get through
"volunteering" online,
someone out there
"somewhere" may have
wished they had put me
in a little dark room
somewhere ...out of
sight...and QUIET so I
would satisfy my desire
to "give back" to society!
I will just be an advocate
HERE and hope someone
somewhere will be
encouraged and
motivated to do the same!

Clarification about
my volunteering activities:
I have not dealt with
anyone but the NICEST
people. They were
justifiable concerned
about other situations in
my life and they should
have been. But I was just
raised that you must give
a certain back to society
(even secretly) no matter
the situations in one's
life! You do it as unto God
and not necessarily as
unto people, though.

many Gods? and pertains to the current discussion. I have
NOT read the book and know nothing else about it, though.
But I will address the question from a Biblical perspective:
that some may have seen angels doing amazing things and
made gods of them! Non believers may even say they were
"space aliens" (thus the amazing feats?) who exist in this
incredibly huge universe of ours. So it may be discussion
about science and religion, although, God knows that I
really do not want to get into the discussion about space
aliens and possible sightings.

It is a government site but I guess we will have to deal with the government here sometimes
and hope the information does not get overly political! Most of us have the same goals
considering certain issues but believe in different methods in achieving those goals. Although,
politics is a very necessary activity in society and God knows we need those gifted individuals
who are able to marshal the various factions of society to make that real difference in society, I
hope to stay above the fray most of the time!
